Be very careful to avoid the actual lid area. I then took a pencil brush and a tiny amount of that same shadow and blended it into the crease area. I then took a golden bronze shadow (Coastal Scents – Pure Bronze), and stuck it to where I put the paint pot.

I drag it this way to keep that inner corner soft and diffused.Īfter cleaning up the edges, I took a MAC paint pot in the shade Layin’ Low and a pointed liner brush to map out where I wanted the gold shadow to be most intense and strong. Next, taking a flat brush, I took a cranberry shadow (Makeup Forever – M844) and lined my entire lid from outer corner to inner corner. I do this after applying each shadow to keep it sharp and defined.

Be sure to blend thoroughly, this is crucial to making the cut crease polished and soft!Īfter the matte shadows, I take a little bit of concealer onto a thin liner brush to sharpen the “cut” area of the crease. I wanted this soft, yet defined to make the negative space stand out.

The shadows don’t have names on this palette but I used the light skin tone shade in the middle on the top row all over the lid, and the light brown shade in the middle on the third row in the crease. I first started with my Sonia Kashuk all matte palette to create a soft defined crease. The products used on my face will be listed at the end.

To start, I have already done my full face and primed my eyelids with MAC Painterly paint pot.

Hey everyone! This is my first pictorial style post, and I’m hoping you all enjoy it 🙂 I swatched it first on top of the Too Faced glitter glue and it gave a nice silvery-white sheen. I love white glitter because it adapts to any base it is stuck to. I was not planning on purchasing this at first but decided to get it because I have wanted a white glitter for a while. Last, but definitely not least, is the Reflects Pearl glitter. I will be selling the Cinderella version of the pigment because I know even the smaller one I already have will end up lasting me a lifetime. The color is a beautiful olive/brown/gold and I have actually used it a few times with a smokey eye. The Pretty It Up pigment is beautiful, I actually already had it from a holiday pigment set (I didn’t even realize before repurchasing – oops!). I was a little sad that it wore terribly and was clinging to the dry patches on my lips like crazy, also the color was a bit more of a pink-nude on me. I was hoping for a soft pink with maybe a satin finish, which is basically the shade of this one. I guess I was expecting something like their skinfinish highlight powders, or something like TheBalm’s MaryLou-manizer. It is chalky, almost impossible to pick up on a brush, and swatches terribly. Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney Princess story, and I loved the simple but pretty packaging of this line.įirst off, I was mostly disappointed by the beauty powder.

This is the first time I decided to go a little crazy with a limited edition release, rather than just getting one item like I usually do when a collection actually interests me or has some sentimental value. I was a bit disappointed by the purchases I made once I got home, mostly because I didn’t swatch them myself before buying. Swatch photos will be at the end of my review! I got the Mystery Princess beauty powder, Royal Ball lipstick, Pretty It Up pigment, and the Reflects Pearl glitter. I had planned ahead of time, did some research, and made a list to avoid missing out on what I wanted. Hey guys! After waiting in line outside my local MAC store for an hour before opening, I was lucky enough to snag exactly what I wanted.
